The Hellenic Nuclear Energy Society (HNES) is a non-profit scientific society dedicated to the advancement of nuclear energy in Greece.
We serve as a source of objective scientific knowledge for the Greek public while functioning as a global networking hub for nuclear energy professionals and students within Greece and the Diaspora.
HNES was founded in 2026 by more than 20 leading Greek nuclear professionals to provide a structured scientific framework for the advancement of nuclear technology in Greece. The society serves as the central networking hub for the Hellenic nuclear diaspora, connecting experts in academia, industry, law, and maritime.
